This position offers the flexibility of telehealth, allowing you to work remotely while maintaining a structured schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health to evaluate the severity and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, ensuring accurate diagnosis.

• Work collaboratively with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to meet client preferences and situations.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress, assessing outcomes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal results.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, discussing client progress and treatment efficacy.

• Stay informed of the latest research and trends in mental health treatment, particularly concerning mood disorders, to enhance clinical practice.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality.

• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development opportunities to stay current in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, which may include patients from different cultural backgrounds and age groups, providing a comprehensive understanding of mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
