Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments, to formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring approaches to be culturally relevant and responsive to their specific goals and challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in various formats including individual, family, couple, and group counseling.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, ensuring stability and continuity of care through effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, including timely progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

• Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, enabling them to manage their mental health conditions and improve their overall well-being.

• Participate in multidisciplinary consultations with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and progress, making adjustments to therapeutic interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and emerging trends in mental health, incorporating this knowledge into practice to enhance the care provided to clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, based upon experience, education, and qualifications.
