Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document client history during preliminary interviews, ensuring all information is accurately recorded from initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health by employing validated assessment tools and techniques.

• Design and develop tailored intervention and recovery plans based on individual, couple, family, and group needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based techniques.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey to ensure the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make adjustments as necessary.

• Collaborate proactively with other mental health specialists and healthcare providers, contributing to a comprehensive intervention strategy tailored to each client.

• Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians to coordinate ideal care plans for clients requiring hospitalization or other specialized services.

• Recognize and mitigate any behaviors that hinder recovery, providing proactive solutions and support to overcome obstacles.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the State of New Jersey.

• A passing score on relevant examinations, such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with potential sign-on bonuses available for the right candidate.
