Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health evaluations, documenting all findings from initial consultations through the duration of treatment.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on therapeutic strategies tailored to client needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to effectively address and support client challenges.

• Regularly monitor and assess clients' progress throughout their treatment, conducting follow-up sessions and modifying treatment plans when necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—such as psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers—to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to mental health care.

• Identify barriers to recovery and proactively develop strategies to mitigate these challenges, supporting clients in navigating their mental health journeys.

• Provide education and support to family members and primary caregivers, empowering them to assist in managing their loved ones' mental and behavioral challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele ranges from children to adults, with presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Active engagement in continuing education and professionalism; candidates should have passed the NCE and/or NCMHCE examinations.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health frameworks and therapeutic practices, alongside a commitment to remain informed about advancements in the field.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to exhibit empathy and understanding in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous direct experience as a mental health counselor, particularly working with varied populations and presenting mental health issues.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to streamline documentation and client management.

• Comprehensive understanding of physical health diagnoses and the interplay with mental health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, coupled with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
