Life Solutions Counseling Center in Tacoma, Washington is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health therapist to join our supportive team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide impactful mental health services in a primarily remote setting.

Work Environment\n

Our remote work environment allows for flexibility while fostering collaboration and connection among team members. You will operate within a community health clinic framework, ensuring that mental health services are accessible to those who are often underserved. The schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of flexible hours to meet patient needs. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are sensitive to cultural backgrounds, employing best practices to understand each patient's unique experiences and needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based interventions that align with the patient's cultural and personal context.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to address specific mental health concerns, using techniques that foster resilience and empower patients.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care to our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention when needed, maintaining composure and offering support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about their mental health, treatment options, and resources available in the community to promote informed decision-making.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery and care quality.

• Continually stay abreast of the latest research, treatment methodologies, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, paired with a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, employing inclusive and culturally responsive strategies.

• Proven crisis intervention skills and an ability to provide calm, effective support in challenging situations.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications specified above, preference will be given to candidates with over two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling and therapy. Additional training or certification in culturally specific therapeutic approaches would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual earnings between $70,000 and $100,000.
