This remote full-time position will allow you to provide high-quality mental health care to clients from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and gather detailed histories from clients during initial consultations.

• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans that address the unique needs of each client, including families and groups.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to specific mental health issues.

• Lead group therapy sessions, fostering an environment of support and understanding among participants.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress against treatment goals, making adjustments as necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.

• Follow up with external medical providers to communicate treatment strategies for clients who may require hospitalization.

• Recognize and intervene effectively in identifying behaviors that hinder recovery and provide clients with the tools to overcome these challenges.

• Support families and caregivers, offering guidance on managing mental health challenges and strengthening their ability to assist their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds and often present with diverse mental health needs, including stress management, relationship issues, trauma recovery, and more severe mental disorders. You will work with individuals aged 18 and above, offering tailored interventions to meet their unique circumstances and cultural contexts. Your expertise will assist clients in developing coping strategies, enhancing their emotional resilience, and achieving their mental health goals in a safe and non-judgmental space.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is mandatory.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is essential.

• Proven experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating effective therapeutic practices.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, with a preference for familiarity with AVATAR.
\n
• Understanding of an array of physical and emotional health conditions, as well as substance abuse disorders, to provide comprehensive care.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices is advantageous.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate treatment plans and progress to clients and other healthcare professionals.

• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach to patient care, reflecting our commitment to client-centered practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
