Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their unique mental health needs, including detailed diagnostic assessments.

• Provide individualized one-on-one counseling services tailored to assist clients in managing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote healing and connection among clients dealing with similar mental health concerns.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review customized treatment plans with specific, measurable goals and interventions unique to each client.

• Respond effectively in crisis situations by offering immediate support, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating necessary emergency interventions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about current best practices in the mental health field.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population ranging from adolescents to adults, addressing various mental health challenges. Our clients often seek help for conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Your understanding of the unique experiences faced by different individuals will be critical to delivering effective therapeutic support.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current license as a Mental Health Counselor in New York state, confirmed by passing a state-recognized exam and completing the required supervised clinical hours.

• A minimum of three years of post-graduate supervised clinical experience as outlined by state regulations.

• Proven interpersonal and counseling skills to effectively guide clients through their mental health journeys.

Compensation and Benefits\n
