This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Administer thorough mental health assessments to elderly residents, discerning their individual challenges and care requirements.

• Provide individualized counseling sessions and facilitate group therapy discussions, focusing on emotional hurdles faced by seniors related to aging and life transitions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and social workers, to construct and implement holistic care plans aimed at improving the mental health outcomes of geriatric residents.

• Deliver educational seminars for staff and families, equipping them with strategies to support emotional resilience and a high quality of life for elderly individuals.

• Conduct grief and loss counseling sessions, providing compassionate support to residents and their families as they navigate end-of-life issues and bereavement.

• Design and execute cognitive stimulation programs that enhance mental acuity among elderly participants, addressing various cognitive challenges to promote overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on geriatric clients, many of whom face complex mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and addiction related to the aging process. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
