Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while collaborating with our outpatient office team. Our office hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional evening or weekend appointments necessary to meet client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and addiction issues. Our clients may vary in age and background, requiring you to adapt your therapeutic approach to best suit individual needs. It is essential to build rapport with clients and create a safe, non-judgmental space for them to express their feelings and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions within mental health settings.

• Strong understanding of and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with prior experience in specialized therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be given preference. Experience with diverse populations or in community mental health settings is also an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
