Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews that assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, meticulously documenting findings from initial consultations to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, reflecting a deep understanding of each client’s unique issues.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to facilitate healing and growth.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individual progress and feedback.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Proof of passing scores on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing electronic health records systems, particularly AVATAR, to streamline documentation and client management processes.

• Comprehensive knowledge of underlying physical and emotional health conditions, along with experience in managing addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is a strong plus.
