Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health needs, employing standardized tools and interviews to ensure accurate treatment planning.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of individuals, groups, and families, employing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and community partners to provide coordinated care that supports client goals and enhances mental health outcomes.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and creating safety plans.
\n
• Participate in community outreach activities and educational initiatives that increase mental health awareness and serve to reduce stigma among diverse populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families reflecting various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. This role is vital in ensuring that all clients receive compassionate care tailored to their unique needs, making your expertise and cultural sensitivity paramount to their journey toward improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to effectively work with individuals from various backgrounds.
\n
• Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and case notes within required timelines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in community mental health or outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions and outcomes.

• Experience in providing therapy to clients struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and related disorders.
