Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including in-depth psychosocial evaluations and diagnostics to inform treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients that address their unique challenges, objectives, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) within individual, couple, family, and group sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention support, demonstrating empathy and expertise to manage acute patient distress while coordinating with other professionals to ensure integrated care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment updates, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with practical tools and knowledge to manage their mental health conditions effectively.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to discuss treatment approaches, share insights, and contribute to a cohesive treatment strategy for patients.

• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment effectiveness and be proactive in adjusting treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Stay updated on current mental health research, emerging trends, and best practices to enhance clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adult clients from various cultural backgrounds who are seeking support for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise in culturally sensitive counseling will play a crucial role in building rapport and trust with clients, enabling them to share their experiences and work toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The competitive annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, commensurate with experience, education, and skill level.
