Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider the developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to address a diverse array of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote greater understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development workshops to stay informed about advancements in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will focus on providing mental health counseling primarily to children and adolescents, ages 5 to 18. Patients often present with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). You will be pivotal in fostering a therapeutic environment where young clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to share their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and best practices in therapy.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy, particularly with young populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience, in addition to potential bonuses.
