Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Virtual Therapy Sessions: Lead engaging and therapeutic remote sessions with clients using video conferencing technology, adhering to assigned schedules.

• Assess Client Needs: Evaluate clients' mental health status through in-depth discussions and assessments, allowing you to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their well-being goals.

• Implement Treatment Plans: Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to effectively address clients’ concerns.

Your experience working with a varied clientele will be invaluable as you create inclusive and responsive treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensing: Valid licensed certification in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• Experience: At least three (3) years of professional mental health counseling experience, demonstrating proficiency in working with diverse populations.

• Remote Therapy Skills: Familiarity with providing remote counseling services, including excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for virtual modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with co-occurring mental health disorders, child and adolescent development, and crisis intervention techniques.

• Additional certifications such as DBT, CCTP, and other specialized training in trauma-informed care or military certification are advantageous but not essential.
