Our outpatient model allows you to connect directly with clients, and while some tasks can be managed from home, you will also participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and collaborative planning sessions to maintain continuity of care for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using standardized evaluation tools to understand the developmental and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with the treatment team to create and implement tailored treatment plans based on current best practices and individual/client family input.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy tailored to the age and needs of the client.

• Engage in family support sessions to guide parents and guardians in fostering a nurturing atmosphere conducive to their child’s healing process.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention services for youth experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring prompt support and stabilization.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
\n
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation of all client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards utilizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education workshops, contributing to a culture of lifelong learning and excellence in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related concerns. Understanding the unique developmental stages of each client will be essential in providing the best possible care, and you will be expected to integrate family dynamics where applicable to ensure holistic treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent psychological disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Strong communication skills, along with a compassionate approach to therapy, enabling you to create trusting relationships with clients and their families.

• Proficiency in navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and the flexibility to adapt to various computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and strategies to enhance client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on child or adolescent mental health.

• Experience in conducting both individual and family therapy with children and adolescents, employing diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to each client.

Compensation and Benefits\n
