The Child Care Mental and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our expanding team in Simi Valley, California. This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while primarily focusing on outpatient services to support diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of patients and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to address patient challenges.

• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups that encourage shared experiences and foster a sense of community among participants.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with fellow professionals to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment integration for each patient.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies and guiding patients towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Child Care Mental and Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000.
