Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role allows for flexibility and a healthy work-life balance while actively engaging with clients through our state-of-the-art telehealth system. You will conduct individual and group therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, enabling you to connect with clients in a comfortable setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions via telehealth, honing in on each patient’s specific needs and treatment goals.

• Document patient interactions and progress accurately and promptly in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

• Collaborate with fellow members of the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and adjust patient treatment plans based on observed behaviors and reported concerns.

• Provide orientation and education to patients and their families about the therapeutic process and available resources.
\n
• Monitor and respond to any changes in patients' behaviors, utilizing crisis management techniques when necessary.

• Advocate for patients' needs and access to services, ensuring they receive comprehensive support throughout their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Counselor will primarily serve a diverse range of individuals, couples, and family units, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural backgrounds. Our patient population often presents with challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. As such, a strong focus on cultural competence and individualized care is essential to address the unique needs of each client effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a telehealth environment.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Proficient understanding of diagnosis and treatment planning, including familiarity with the DSM-5.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration and rapport-building with clients and other professionals.

• Experience with electronic health record systems to maintain accurate patient files and treatment documentation.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
