Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and areas of concern, allowing you to tailor mental health treatment accordingly.

• Develop individual and family-centered treatment plans that are culturally relevant and include goals for client progress.

• Utilize trauma-informed care practices to address complex emotional and psychological issues faced by clients.

• Participate in multidisciplinary staff meetings to discuss case management and provide feedback on treatment strategies.

• Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with program standards, including client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure the continuity of care.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring immediate support and care for clients experiencing acute distress.

• Manage a designated caseload, effectively balancing your time to provide comprehensive services to each client.

• Engage in professional development opportunities and peer supervision to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with vulnerable populations, including individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges and those from historically marginalized groups. Your focus will be on developing therapeutic relationships that foster trust and support, working within a framework that addresses the unique struggles faced by clients from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a related field is required, along with an active clinical license in the state of California. Acceptable licenses include LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

• Proven ability to maintain regular attendance, fulfilling all obligations and responsibilities of the role.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly within community health settings or working with at-risk populations. Previous experience conducting individual and family therapy is highly valuable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
