Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to understand the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect the individual goals and cultural context of patients, involving them actively in the planning process.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), accommodating individual, couple, family, and group dynamics.

• Engage in crisis intervention, ensuring proper support and continuity of care for patients experiencing acute mental distress.

• Maintain thorough and up-to-date clinical documentation compliant with clinic policies and regulatory standards, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, equipping them with practical skills and knowledge to manage their conditions.
\n
• Work in concert with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to create comprehensive care plans.

• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes to determine effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve patient care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice for improved patient care.

• Maintain the highest ethical standards and confidentiality regarding all patient information at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You will work to create an inclusive environment that respects individual differences and actively responds to the unique cultural and linguistic needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
