The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with core working hours set from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine mental health and substance use status, identifying co-occurring disorders that require intervention.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions tailored specifically for their unique situations.

• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping strategies, preventing relapse, and improving emotional regulation.

• Work harmoniously with our interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure holistic care delivery.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring while utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to support and motivate clients on their recovery path.

• Educate clients and their families about the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders, reinforcing the necessity of treatment adherence.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment progress, interventions implemented, and client referrals to comply with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in case conferences, peer support, and ongoing training sessions to advance knowledge in treating co-occurring disorders and improve departmental outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals suffering from both mental health issues and substance use disorders, often referred to as co-occurring disorders. The clinic serves a diverse population, necessitating a culturally sensitive approach to therapy that recognizes the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. You will play a critical role in helping individuals regain stability and reclaim their lives through compassionate guidance and evidence-based treatments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• Expertise in evidence-based practices for treating co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong understanding of the interaction between mental health and substance use challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
