Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews, meticulously documenting client cases from the first consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients for mental, behavioral, and emotional health concerns to determine appropriate intervention plans.
\n
• Develop individualized and group therapy programs tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, adapting methodologies to meet client needs.
\n
• Monitor and record patient progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary based on feedback and observed improvements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, medical practitioners, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
\n
• Provide timely follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring an integrated approach to care.

• Proactively identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, employing therapeutic interventions effectively.

• Support family members and caregivers in managing the mental and behavioral challenges faced by loved ones, providing education and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. You will work closely with clients experiencing mental health conditions including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a track record in applying therapeutic concepts effectively.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, with a preference for experience with platforms like AVATAR.

• Knowledge of physical health conditions and addiction disorders pertinent to mental health practices.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and other relevant guidelines.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities.
