Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours while maintaining a structured schedule. The Therapist will work primarily from home, connecting with patients through our telehealth system, ensuring that services are accessible and convenient for families. Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts necessary to accommodate patient needs. Our innovative telehealth facility utilizes state-of-the-art technology to ensure effective communication and therapeutic engagement with our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through telehealth sessions to identify the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account the developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific challenges faced by each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address a variety of mental health conditions effectively.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations that may arise in telehealth settings, providing immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment alternatives, and available community resources to encourage engagement and coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of clinical encounters and treatment progress in compliance with established regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to case discussions and consultations that enhance patient care strategies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and new advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health services to children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. The Therapist will engage with diverse client backgrounds and will work to establish trust and rapport with both young individuals and their families. Our emphasis is on creating a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment conducive to healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally focused on child and adolescent mental health.

• In-depth knowledge of developmental psychology, mental health disorders specific to youth, and effective treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and family therapy with compassion and expertise.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to connect empathetically with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.

• A collaborative mindset, ready to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, based on experience and qualifications.
