Work Environment\n

This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing you to engage with patients through our innovative telehealth platform. Our flexible work environment fosters collaboration while catering to the diverse schedules of our clients. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. This setup ensures that our therapists can maintain a work-life balance while delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their psychological and emotional needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific challenges faced by each young client, taking into account their developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to provide effective interventions for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health disorders.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening the support systems around children, helping parents and caregivers understand and navigate their child's needs.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and holistic treatment for our patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance to clients and their families.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to enhance your own skill set and contribute to team knowledge.

• Stay updated with current research, best practices, and innovations in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This therapist position primarily focuses on children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients often deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and ADHD, necessitating a therapeutic approach that is both empathetic and knowledgeable. You will play a key role in improving the mental health outcomes of young individuals, working closely with their families to create a nurturing support system.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; however, candidates with a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution are preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred but not required.
\n
• Solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and contemporary therapeutic techniques is essential.

• Proven ability in delivering individual and family therapy, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital applications is necessary for this role.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is crucial.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, as this role will leverage remote technologies to provide care.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based treatment protocols for youth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
