Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents seeking treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient’s developmental stage and family context.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy and family sessions, to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in creating nurturing environments that support their children’s mental health.

• Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Offer crisis intervention services when necessary, providing immediate support and resources during mental health emergencies affecting young patients.

• Educate families about mental health conditions, treatment options, community resources, and preventative measures to foster ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education sessions to stay current with best practices and evolving methodologies in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a diverse client population of children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 who present with various psychological and emotional challenges. Your work will involve addressing conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral issues, all while considering the unique developmental perspectives of your patients. You will play a crucial role in guiding families through their challenges, promoting understanding, and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and engaging approach that resonates with young patients and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to enhance treatment delivery.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
