Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and concerns of children and adolescents seeking therapy.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and optimal outcomes for our clients.

• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health illnesses, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.

• Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance clinical skills.

• Stay updated with current best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry and mental health treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of New York.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health.

• Excellent understanding of various evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that reflect a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
