Work Environment\n

In this remote telehealth setting, you will have the flexibility to engage with clients from various backgrounds while working from the comfort of your private space. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments during initial client consultations to clearly identify the unique needs and history of each child or adolescent.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans focusing on developmental milestones, emotional growth, and family involvement for effective therapy outcomes.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and supportive counseling, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, helping parents and caregivers understand their child’s mental health challenges and develop supportive strategies at home.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists and other professionals, to coordinate seamless, comprehensive care for your clients.

• Manage crisis intervention services effectively to support young clients experiencing acute mental health episodes, ensuring immediate and appropriate care.

• Educate both patients and their guardians about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community resources that can enhance care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records using electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to remain informed of best practices and emerging research.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, indicating a strong foundation in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications. This position includes a generous sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
