Work Environment\n

Our outpatient office is designed to be a warm and welcoming space for both staff and clients. With a remote work setting, team members enjoy the flexibility of participating in virtual meetings and consultations while still being integrated into our supportive workplace culture. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some evening shifts may be required based on the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments of children and adolescents to inform treatment planning.

• Formulate, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support young individuals in achieving their mental health goals.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to create nurturing environments that enhance the emotional development of their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure that each patient receives comprehensive support.

• Provide crisis intervention services for children and adolescents in mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular team meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role lies in supporting children and adolescents dealing with various mental health concerns. Our patients often face challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other disorders that require specialized interventions. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy to children and adolescents.

• Solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Proven ability to effectively engage with young clients and their families, utilizing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• Experience working with diverse populations and a compassionate, child-centered therapeutic approach.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and comfortable with various computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, capable of functioning well within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor’s degree is required, candidates with a Master’s degree in a related field and additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques will be considered favorably. Experience in crisis intervention and family therapy will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
