We are actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our well-respected Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Team at Cure Health Therapy Center. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver essential mental health care remotely to children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, located in Brooklyn, New York. Work Environment\n

As a remote therapist, you will enjoy a flexible work setting while being supported by our outpatient office team. You'll engage with colleagues through regular meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities, ensuring a cohesive and informed approach to patient care. Occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs, but our core working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the individual needs and mental health status of children and adolescents.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to developmental stages and family circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide interventions that effectively address a variety of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to foster supportive environments conducive to healing.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies affecting children and adolescents, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, proposed treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Your primary focus will be on addressing the mental health needs of children and adolescents, a demographic that faces increasingly complex emotional and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Strong familiarity with child and adolescent mental health disorders, alongside proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• A proven track record of delivering individual and family therapy to younger clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• The ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families is paramount.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
