Work Environment\n

This role combines the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative ethos of our outpatient facility. Although therapists may primarily operate from their own home office, they will engage regularly through virtual platforms to ensure clients receive coordinated care. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain each patient's unique needs, strengths, and challenges, and utilize this information to craft tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, in one-on-one and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that aim to create a sense of community and provide patients with the tools to manage common mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic patient care and aligned treatment objectives.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during urgent mental health situations, helping to stabilize patients and guide them to appropriate resources.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records that comply with ethical and legal standards, ensuring accurate tracking of patient progress.

• Participate proactively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse, and strive to foster resilience and recovery through skilled therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory; higher education (Master's or Doctoral) is preferred.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in California is required.

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment approaches is essential.

• Proven experience conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Child Care Mental and Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
