Work Environment\n

As a remote position, the role of Mental Health Counselor at California Neurobehavioral Associates offers flexibility while ensuring that you remain an integral part of our outpatient office's supportive community. You will be provided with the necessary tools and technology to create a comfortable and effective telehealth environment for client consultations. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs, incorporating measurable objectives and regular progress assessments.
\n
• Provide ongoing emotional support to clients, assisting them in managing challenges such as trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, and stress through compassionate and empathetic engagement.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging social connection and personal growth, while fostering a community of support among participants.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and certifications in areas such as trauma, addiction, or grief counseling.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current certification as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
