Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments and document client cases from the initial consultation through to discharge, ensuring all relevant information is captured accurately.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
\n
• Develop and implement effective intervention strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate enriching individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that promote engagement, trust, and resilience.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, maintaining flexibility to ensure the highest level of care.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and doctors, to create holistic intervention plans that address the entirety of a client’s health.

• Ensure follow-ups are conducted with clients transitioning into inpatient services, liaising effectively with hospital physicians and staff to provide comprehensive care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop actionable strategies to mitigate these challenges proactively.

• Support families and primary caregivers by offering resources and guidance to effectively manage their loved ones’ mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds, presenting a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the State of California.

• A successful passing score on the National Counseling Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated previous experience as a mental health counselor.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience addressing complex cases involving co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse issues.

• Knowledge of the best practices as set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A strong understanding of the pharmacological treatments related to mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
