Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling flexible work-life balance while still engaging closely with our outpatient office team. The work is conducted during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As part of our telehealth services, you will be equipped with the latest technology and tools to efficiently connect with clients and provide therapeutic support from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify the symptoms, frequency, and severity of mood disorders, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's history.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans based on their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances, employing a client-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, including treatment options, symptom management, and coping strategies.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide a comprehensive support system for clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and stay informed about developments in mood disorder treatments.

• Act as an advocate for clients, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health while promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Your role is crucial in delivering compassionate care to clients who may be facing significant emotional and psychological challenges, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities specifically tailored for mood disorders, including familiarity with CBT and DBT.

• Proficient understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with prescribing physicians.

Compensation and Benefits\n
