Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to evaluate their emotional and psychological needs, using standardized tools and personal interviews.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique backgrounds of patients, considering developmental phases and family systems.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy to help clients manage conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with the tools to nurture and support their children’s mental health.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to create a unified care strategy, ensuring that treatment is coordinated and comprehensive.

• Respond to mental health crises involving children and adolescents, providing immediate intervention, assessment, and necessary referrals.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources that promote recovery and support.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of patient interactions, treatment outcomes, and progress in compliance with ethical standards.

• Regularly participate in team meetings, engaging in case consultations and continuing education workshops to enhance your professional skills.

• Remain current with research developments and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, providing support to those aged 5-18 who are grappling with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. Many of our patients come from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique emotional and developmental needs that require a sensitive and tailored approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid state licensure is necessary, such as LCSW-R, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent license.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on building trust with children and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology for effective client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on child and adolescent mental health is preferred.

• Experience delivering both individual and family counseling in a virtual environment is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
