This position supports a remote work setting, combining telehealth services with the option for in-person consultations at our outpatient office. Regular work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider the developmental stages, family dynamics, and unique circumstances of each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy—to address a wide array of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to equip parents and caregivers with strategies to create supportive and nurturing environments for their children.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated and continuous care for each young patient.

• Respond to mental health emergencies and provide immediate crisis intervention support as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available community resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Proven knowledge of developmental psychology and child/adolescent mental health disorders, including familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy, particularly in a setting focused on the youth population.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and responsive approach towards children and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
