This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to deliver specialized mental health services remotely, while also connecting with a committed outpatient office in Fontana, California. Work Environment\n

This role is designed for full-time remote work, allowing for flexibility while maintaining consistent communication and cooperation with our office team. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate exceptional patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the specific needs of children and adolescents, using standardized assessment tools and interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each client's developmental stage, family dynamics, and cultural background.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to effectively address mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to foster a nurturing and supportive environment.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, educators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources that can further facilitate support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, as well as organizational policies.

• Actively engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities, continuously updating knowledge on the latest research and best practices within child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on child and adolescent clients, who face a variety of mental health challenges. You will work closely with children, ranging from elementary school age to adolescents, addressing conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention-related issues, and various behavioral disorders. The ability to build strong rapport with this vulnerable population and their families is essential to achieving positive therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with pertinent evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• A background in providing both individual and family therapy to young clients, with demonstrable skill in applying different therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• A track record of establishing effective rapport and trust with clients and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The estimated salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a sign-on bonus to eligible candidates.
