Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and diagnostic screenings to evaluate patients’ mental health needs, ensuring personalized treatment planning that aligns with best practices.

• Deliver short-term individual counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused approaches, to address patients' immediate concerns.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops that focus on important topics such as anxiety management, coping strategies, and self-esteem building.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, medical professionals, and support staff, to provide holistic care for patients, ensuring all mental and physical health aspects are addressed.

• Develop and participate in outreach initiatives, including community mental health awareness campaigns and wellness workshops, aimed at reducing stigma and promoting mental health resources.

• Ensure meticulous documentation and maintenance of patient records, adhering to ethical and legal standards while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The mental health counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship struggles. Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and unrestricted state license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; preference is given to candidates with a Master's or Doctoral degree.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with patients and colleagues.
