Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to communicate critical updates regarding patient progress, needs, and concerns, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Documenting clinical and progress notes accurately and timely in compliance with clinic standards, which includes maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Participating in treatment planning and discharge planning meetings, using psychosocial assessments to guide interventions and action steps that benefit each patient.

• Providing individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on crisis intervention, emotional support, and systematic treatment of behavioral health challenges.

• Assisting with care coordination, connecting clients with necessary resources and community services to facilitate smooth transitions post-discharge.

• Engaging with families and support systems in the treatment process, ensuring they are informed and involved in discharge planning efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or an equivalent credential.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, focusing on evidence-based treatments.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage caseloads independently and efficiently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems to maintain accurate documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n
