Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, carefully considering each child's unique developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to tackle various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to cultivate healing, supportive environments for their children.

• Collaborate proactively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure continuous and holistic patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support in high-stress situations, ensuring children's safety and stability during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to legal, ethical, and clinical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

• Stay current with emerging research, best practices, and new methodologies relevant to child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. It is our mission to provide these young patients with compassionate care that not only addresses their immediate mental health needs but also promotes their long-term psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred, demonstrating your competence and commitment in the mental health field.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy specifically to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster a child-centered, compassionate approach to therapy.

• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with young clients and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, a retirement savings plan with employer contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO), including holiday pay. A sign-on bonus may also be available for qualified candidates.
