This position allows for flexibility through remote work arrangements, ensuring that our therapists can provide care in a comfortable setting while still being an integral part of our outpatient practice. The typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some evening shifts required to accommodate our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their therapeutic needs and formulate effective care strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural contexts.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy to address a multitude of mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in fostering a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated care approach for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.

• Educate children, adolescents, and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents experiencing a diverse range of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver individual and family therapy effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-focused approach.

• Adept with technology, including proficiency in electronic health record systems and other relevant software.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Royal Psychological Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
