This position will be performed remotely, allowing you flexibility while working in a supportive digital environment. As part of our detox center team, you will engage with patients and their families through telehealth channels, ensuring high-quality care remains accessible. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the individual needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools and methods.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that take into account developmental factors, family dynamics, and the specific challenges presented by our young patients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to address and mitigate a variety of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, guiding parents and caregivers on how to create a supportive environment conducive to healing and growth.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a unified approach to each patient’s care, utilizing shared electronic health records for seamless communication.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, working closely with emergency services if necessary to secure patient safety.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, helping them navigate their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation following all legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure compliance and quality care.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work directly with young patients aged 6 to 18, addressing issues related to emotional regulation, social skills, and behavioral concerns. By fostering a therapeutic rapport, you will play a critical role in their path toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in working with children and adolescents.

• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic games tailored to this age group.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy to young individuals, creating a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive sign-on bonus for the right candidate.
