Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and challenges facing children and adolescents.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans focused on the unique developmental stages of each patient, along with their family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Lead family therapy sessions designed to engage parents and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to support their children's mental health effectively.

• Work side by side with child psychiatrists and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care that integrates various perspectives and expertise.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical mental health episodes, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that promote recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring up-to-date documentation through our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development, staying current with advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with children and adolescents facing a diverse range of mental health issues. This position demands a strong focus on building supportive relationships with young patients, as well as their families, to ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• Proven knowledge of child and adolescent mental health conditions, therapeutic approaches, and treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a child-centered and empathetic approach.
\n
• Capability to establish rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and standard computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, eager to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct work experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a community health context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
