Comprehensive Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry team. In this full-time position, you will provide essential mental health services to young individuals and their families from the comfort of your remote work setting in San Diego, California. As a mental health therapist holding a Licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Clinical Social Work (LCSW), you will play a vital role in improving the mental well-being of our patients through direct therapy and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive work environment, working closely with experienced child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. Your daily schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours as needed to meet patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that take into account the developmental stage and family context of each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address a range of mental health concerns.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, therapeutic options, and available resources in the community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure professional experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders affecting children and adolescents, along with knowledge of evidence-based therapies.

• Experience in providing both individual and family therapy tailored to young clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy and a child-centered approach.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.
\n
• A collaborative mindset for effective teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and coordination of care in a digital environment is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience working in a community health or non-profit setting is a plus.

• Specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or play therapy is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
