Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while ensuring you maintain close connections with our dedicated outpatient team. Your work schedule will typically consist of weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate the needs of our patients and families. You will have the chance to collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, including child psychiatrists and behavioral specialists, to provide holistic care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Create and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, including evidence-based practices, that consider the developmental stages of young patients.

• Facilitate both individual and family therapy sessions to address diverse mental health concerns, fostering a supportive environment for parents and caregivers.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including regular case consultations and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents displaying various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Your therapeutic approach will be sensitive to the specific needs of young patients, emphasizing collaboration with their families to create nurturing environments that support emotional development and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment methodologies and therapeutic techniques.

• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services, both individually and in a family context, specifically for children and adolescents.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a patient-centered and empathetic approach to care.

• Ability to foster trusting relationships with patients and their families, ensuring a safe and engaging therapeutic environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid understanding of relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
