Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each child or adolescent, identifying areas for support and intervention.

• Design and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that consider each patient’s developmental stage, family dynamics, and specific mental health challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, helping parents and caregivers to create supportive home environments that reinforce therapeutic strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other health professionals, ensuring coordinated care through regular communication and case consultations.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in team meetings, contribute to case discussions, and engage in ongoing professional development activities.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, treatment methodologies, and best practices within the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Your work will greatly influence their ability to navigate challenges and will help them develop resilience and coping strategies critical for their future.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders pertinent to children and adolescents, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in providing therapeutic services, specifically individual and family therapy, to young individuals.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, child-centered approach to care.
\n
• A proven ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families to foster a trusting therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking of treatment plans.
\n
• Commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while exhibiting strong problem-solving abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
