Work Environment\n

This position is remote but closely integrated with our outpatient office services. Counselors will engage in teletherapy sessions while also meeting students in school environments to provide direct support. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes educators, administrators, and mental health specialists, all working together to enhance the well-being of our clients. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for consistency in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the emotional and psychological needs of students.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies to support students in distress, ensuring their safety and emotional stability.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop comprehensive support plans that foster student success.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal regulations.

• Create and sustain an inclusive, trauma-informed environment that prioritizes the emotional safety of all students.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies suited to the unique challenges faced by youth today.

• Regularly assess the needs of students and adjust counseling techniques as required to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and academic stress. Your work will directly contribute to their emotional and psychological development, ensuring they acquire the resilience and coping strategies necessary for success academically and personally.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent within the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting focusing on child and adolescent populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
