We utilize advanced electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to streamline documentation and facilitate communication among team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial consultations and ongoing mental health assessments to understand client needs and preferences.

• Develop evidence-based treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a customized approach for each client.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques appropriate to each client’s specific circumstances.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on evolving needs and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create integrated intervention strategies that promote holistic client care.

• Follow up on clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication with attending medical professionals.

• Educate families and caregivers on managing mental and behavioral health challenges, providing tools and resources for effective support.

• Identify and intervene to prevent behaviors that hinder client recovery, employing proactive strategies to address barriers to mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with clients and their families to develop treatment plans that acknowledge their unique backgrounds and experiences, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California is necessary to practice.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) with passed scores.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client interactions and documentation of treatment plans.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic nature, enabling meaningful engagement with clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with a potential signing bonus included to welcome you to our team.
