Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand and evaluate the specific needs of our child and adolescent patients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, carefully considering each patient's developmental stage and family background.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family therapy, to address various mental health conditions.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on supporting children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. You will work closely with young individuals and their families, establishing trusting relationships that foster open communication and effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a related field is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues, treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices is essential.
