Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for young clients, utilizing recognized evaluation tools to identify emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and developmental stages of each child or adolescent.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy techniques, to support client progress.

• Lead family therapy sessions aimed at empowering caregivers and creating a supportive home environment.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatments, and community resources.

• Maintain complete and confidential documentation to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and enhance collaborative care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically serves children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. You will play a crucial role in helping young clients navigate their emotional landscapes while engaging with their families to promote healing and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience providing therapy to individuals and families, particularly in engaging youth.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an approach that respects the needs of children and adolescents.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to encourage qualified candidates to join our team.
