Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this therapist role offers a work-life balance designed to cater to the needs of both our patients and employees. Our standard office hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient schedules. You will work in a supportive and collaborative team environment, utilizing digital tools to connect with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' unique needs and develop personalized, effective treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and others tailored to individual, couple, and family dynamics.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups that provide patients with skills and resources to better manage their mental health.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate assistance when needed.
\n
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that could aid in their recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation according to legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay informed of the latest mental health research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients encompass a diverse demographic, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and the elderly, each facing varying levels of mental health conditions. Therapists will work closely with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other complex mental health issues, ensuring sensitive and culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, and the capacity to adapt to client-specific needs.

• Proven skills in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, with an emphasis on individual and group dynamics.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate trust and rapport with clients.

• Strong ethical standards and judgment in maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in various computer applications relevant to clinical practice.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a cohesive treatment approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to a varied client population.

• Experience in implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches effectively, especially in outpatient settings.

• Previous involvement in crisis management and intervention strategies within a mental health context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
