Pure Insight Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Paterson, New Jersey. This full-time position allows for remote work while also involving direct interactions in our outpatient office setting. Our practice promotes a flexible, collaborative work atmosphere where therapists can thrive. You will primarily engage in remote therapy sessions, supplemented by in-office consultations. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate individual patient needs. You will be part of a dynamic team of mental health professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care while ensuring a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gather insights into patients' unique life experiences and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider each patient's cultural context.

• Provide a range of therapy modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, to support patients through their mental health journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care through coordinated treatment plans.

• Respond to mental health crises effectively by providing timely intervention and support to patients in need.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and access to community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and approaches sensitive to cultural factors.

• Experience in individual and group therapy settings, incorporating culturally responsive and inclusive methods.

• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to navigate difficult situations with composure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with a diverse client base.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A firm commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
